The Statics team is a creative, presentation-based group that explores the business and practical applications of both driverless and traditional vehicle technologies. Throughout the year, the team analyses existing business models, develops a comprehensive business plan, and refines presentation skills in preparation for the Business Plan Presentation event at Formula Student UK in Silverstone.
Members gain valuable insight into the evolving driverless vehicle industry while developing research, communication, and strategic thinking skills that are beneficial both academically and professionally.

FS Static evaluates the team’s off-track performance, focusing on the car’s design, engineering decisions, and business planning. Teams present technical design reports, cost analyses, and project strategies to demonstrate professionalism and innovation.

Driverless Static assesses the team’s autonomous systems, including software, electronics, sensors, and safety. Teams present their AI, control algorithms, and simulation results alongside a business plan, highlighting the feasibility and innovation of driverless technology.
